Hello, hello! 

I just reread my whole blog, which I have neglected, shame on me. My first post, I wrote November, 2014. Ten years ago! What a tumultuous ten years it has been…..everywhere! Election season is around the corner. There are already too many people making their views known. I don’t care to add to the clamoring voices. Hubby is very opinionated and I struggle to hear my own inner voice of what I think is right and true. Thankfully he is gracious enough to still like me, and I him in spite of our opposite positions. The older I get, the more unsure I am of anything and the less control I have over everything. Crafting and art making is probably my way of having any “say so” in my life. 

I was inspired by a friend to make watercolor sketchbooks and set time aside for sketching in the Summer of 2024. Here are my dabbles. Nothing earth shattering or important. I am not important either in this conflicted country. I try to be respectful and kind and eschew hate of any kind. I’m not always successful. But we must if there is to be peace anywhere on this beautiful, lonely planet…

Here are my sketches and projects from Summer, 2024 up to and including September until October 2nd, 2024. Except for the heart flying above the world rendered in felted wool fiber. That was during Covid. A wish for Goodwill.
